Alright, I want to apologize for not updating this site for God knows how many decades…I’m still alive, so be at ease =P See, I’ve been so busy with my PTPTN loan stuff and my assignments…Ugh X_X PTPTN is driving me crazy…
ARGH!PALAPES[Pasukan Latihan Pegawai Simpanan aka Reserved Officers Training Unit] failed to inform me of their schedule for physical test and medical checkup! When I went to enquire, they simply said, “Oh,kamu sudah miss kedua-duanya, kami tidak terima orang lagi” Ish! Main-main with me eh! Ahh, nevermind, perhaps it’s not in the best interest of God for me. =)
I’ve made many new friends, mandarin speaking chinese friends =P Hey you can try me out man, my mandarin’s improved since I first arrived in UTM! My vocabs aren’t as limited as before and I ~think~ I can express myself better in mandarin adee =P
N4 cell group has been a real blessing to me! =D The people are very warm and they do take me out for dinner and supper occasionally. Oh oh, after coming to Johore, I developed a crave for ‘ROTI BOM’ O_O It’s not my first time eating roti bom, but I don’t understand why am I craving for it now…One more thing…I think my metabolism rate just got elevated…I can’t seem to be filled after every meal, no matter how much I eat….T.T I just hope my wallet doesn’t tear apart…
Yesterday[19/07/08], I went early to City Harvest just to help out and boy, to my amazement…:-
a) The movers- A bunch of youngsters who functions almost similar to the media crew back in RGBC. The amazing point is that they were there around 12pm to set up when the service actually begins at 4pm! The way they setup the sound system was SUPERB! The dedication that they were willing to offer simply amazes me!
b) The worship team- A versatile, God-given group of musicians who performs in a co-ordinated manner during practice and emulate it spiritually during worship! O_O My jaw simply…dropped! Not that I want to compare, but when I look back at our Frontliner’s Worship Team, there’s so much room for improvement!
c) Ushers- A group of young people, who arrange the seats in the sanctuary. Think it’s easy? Simply arrange? Nonono…Every inch was marked with precision…The array of chairs were arranged properly, systematically!
d) Service- It is really interesting, to see a bunch of leaders, taking turns to lead during the service, from scripture reading + explanation to the preaching of the Word. During the announcement, it’s really an innovative style of making announcements. 2 girls went up the stage and they basically ‘acted’ the announcement out!
The sermon that I heard yesterday was really a breakthrough for me. A similar passage taken from Matthew-Parable of the Sower, was preached in a whole new aspect and it really opened up both my eyes and mind. [Do check out heartsongs-to-Christ]
I thank God for assimilating me to the body of City Harvest. I pray that I’ll function properly and that I’ll glorify His name. Above all else, I pray that I’ll ~grow~! There are many areas in my life which require…rectification =D
